Mr. Donohue is a lifetime entrepreneur. In this respect, in June 2008, he was appointed Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Babson College, which offers the #1-rated entrepreneurship education. He served until late 2013, when he returned his focus to building enterprises and partnering with CEO’s. After his EIR term, Babson appointed him a Senior Fellow in Social Innovation.
In 2011, Mr. Donohue was honored as one of the “Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior” by Trust Across America.
He advises a broad range of CEO’s, Board’s, family offices and funds. He specializes in optimizing corporate design, at all levels, and brings a wealth of experience in operations, M&A, fundraising, JV’s, team management and exponential technology. He also has 25 years experience in “impact” entrepreneurship and “socially responsible” enterprise.
In April 2016, he became the Strategic Adviser / Board Member for the respected entrepreneur, Jud Ireland, and is collaborating on healthcare enterprises, real estate projects and advising a $100B+ Chinese investment fund on M&A.
In May, he became Chairman of BrilliantYou, which intends to reduce suffering/struggle for a Billion People over ten years, via its current “stealth-mode” development of a unique online matching platform.
In recent times, he became a Board Member & Strategic Adviser to the CEO of “Deep Geo”, which will build the world’s largest repository for spent nuclear fuel, reducing enviro & geopolitical risks.
In 2016, he became a strategic adviser to the CEO of SYNQY, with a technology platform to dramatically improve the inefficient $500B “trade promotions” market. He also advises other Internet enterprises.
Importantly, in mid-2016, he re-joined forces with his writing/speaking partner, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and her Foundation for Conscious Evolution, where he is incoming Treasurer and Board member.
